A .999 fine silver coin is made of pure silver (99.9% purity) — its value is anchored by the metal weight itself, and it carries lifelong intrinsic worth (investment-grade). A silver-plated coin has a brass or zinc-alloy core with a layer of silver electroplated on top. Plated coins look identical to solid silver on the surface and last decades, but cost a fraction of the price — ideal for larger runs, corporate gifts, or recognition programmes.

Solid .999 fine silver coins are priced based on the current spot price of silver plus minting craft — a 1 troy oz (38–40 mm) coin contains ~31 g of pure silver. Silver-plated coins are far more affordable and drop in price with quantity. Every quote we issue is itemised: tooling, base material, plating, enamel, engraving, packaging and COA are all line-by-line.

There is no minimum. We mint single .999 fine silver coins (perfect for collector pieces or unique commemoratives) and silver-plated coins from one piece up to 500,000+. Single pieces use embossing or photo-etching; runs of 50+ are die-struck.

Most silver bullion-style coins are 1 troy oz (~31 g, 38–40 mm diameter) or 1/2 oz (~15.5 g). We also produce custom diameters from 10 mm up to 120 mm, and thicknesses from 2 to 6 mm. Custom weights are available on request.

Proof = mirror-polished field with frosted raised relief — the gold standard for collectors. BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) = uniform brilliant matte/satin finish, fresh from the dies. Antique = oxidised dark recesses with high-relief contrast, perfect for vintage or heritage designs.
